A year that asks not for explanations,
\nbut for truth.
\nA year that lets what is no longer needed fall away,
\nthat strips things back, that teaches us to stay.<\/p>\n

A year of compassion becoming helping hands,
\nof wisdom born from the heart’s quiet service.<\/p>\n

A year that closes one cycle and opens another, without a sound.<\/p>\n

It was with this deep feeling that we at Kapirus, together with Irma Romagnoli,
\nmade our way through 2025.
\nNot as tourists, but as souls ready to listen.
\nA journey of solidarity that opened inner doors even before real ones,
\nlaying a path towards the 2026 that awaits us.<\/p>\n

And it was no coincidence that there were nine of us.
\nNine breaths, nine hearts, nine souls travelling towards Nepal.
\nUnited by the simple, powerful wish
\nto be there, to bring love to our school in Sunapati, in the fragile, beautiful heart
\nof Ramechhap district.<\/p>\n

That journey marked an ending.
\nThe end of a project nurtured for years with care and dedication, culminating in a final gift: playground equipment for the school garden.
\nEquipment that means more than objects: laughter, movement, childhood breathing freely again.<\/p>\n

Every time we arrive, their eyes light up. They welcome us with flower garlands, almost as if we were gods, as if the world, for a moment, were a safe place.<\/p>\n

Children who today, thanks to you, have shoes to walk in and jackets for
\nthe freezing nights beneath a starry sky,
\nwhen the Himalayan cold
\ngets into their bones and stays.<\/p>\n

November brought colour to a place where everything is often dust.
\nIt brought carefree moments, simple games
\nto lighten worries too heavy
\nfor shoulders so small.
\nA gentle way of saying:
\nyou are not alone.
\nNot today.
\nNot here.<\/p>\n

Sometimes it takes so little:
\na smile,
\nsomeone being there,
\na gesture that seems small but saves the heart, even for those with no choice, no alternatives.<\/p>\n

Ramechhap is a harsh, forgotten district.
\nThe few children who remain live in a land that demands resilience.<\/p>\n

We looked into their eyes, one by one.
\nAnd in those gazes, our hearts understood,
\nmore deeply than any words could explain,
\nhow vital it is to stay united and, above all, to keep them united.<\/p>\n

We know one thing with absolute certainty:
\nwithout you,
\nwithout those who support us even simply by reading,
\nnone of this would be possible.<\/p>\n

That simple gesture allows us to continue,

A new beginning.
\nA seed.
\nA first step towards something growing slowly, but strongly.<\/p>\n

In April, we will set off again.
\nWith those who want to see, touch and feel.
\nWe will complete the final task and install the last playground equipment. We will explore Ramenchhap district, but above all,
\nwe will meet another school.
\nAnother promise.
\nAnother heartfelt commitment.<\/p>\n

We will begin with what they have asked for:
\nshoes,
\nwarm clothes.
\nTheir simple request echoes within us and does not fade.<\/p>\n

More schools.
\nMore children.
\nMore possibilities for the future.<\/p>\n

Here, caught up in our daily rush, we forget how fortunate we are. How our children have shoes and warm jackets, books and colours to enjoy a carefree life.
\nThey remind us, without words.<\/p>\n

And while we teach them colours or English, they teach us dignity.<\/p>\n

True dignity.
\nThe kind that asks for nothing,
\nbut remains.<\/p>\n
