HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025

In 2024 we concluded our support of and collaboration with Cittadinanza ONLUS of Rimini, whom we sincerely thank for the work they are doing with children with disabilities in Kenya and Ethiopia.

In 2025 we will continue to fund:

• The YESHAK project for children with autism in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia
• The English-Fit project of the S. Giuseppe Institute in Romania (orphanage)
• The Sunapati school in Nepal, with a new request for school equipment

We are launching a new project to fight child malnutrition in south-eastern Madagascar, together with the Associazione Amici di Ampisilava – Bologna. We will publish the details on the website as soon as they are available

Last November (as I do every two years), I accompanied a group of naturopaths on a study trip to Nepal. It was an excellent opportunity to collect clothes and school supplies. We thank the students of the School of Naturopathy and the Re-use association, who collected the materials we delivered to the school during our visit to the village.

At a meeting with the school staff, parents’ representatives and community representatives, we found a complete lack of school equipment, as well as a shortage of exercise books and pencils. As Nepal has satellite internet coverage, it is possible to set up an innovative educational programme using computers. After consulting them, we revised their original request.

We decided to reduce the number of computers and to add a projector, a printer and a school bus service. The secondary school, in the municipality of Hiledevi, is a three-hour walk from the village (there is no other means of transport), and this leads many children to drop out of school. We are also setting up support for English teaching and, at their request, we are looking for some play equipment for the school playground (a swing, a slide…).

As a Foundation, we are considering organising trips to Nepal and donating part of the profits to school projects in remote villages of Nepal.
