This document does not confer ownership of the chair. It certifies its adoption for three years, ensuring its restoration and preservation.
This document certifies the authenticity of the adoption certificate you have received for a chair at Teatro Mazzacorati 1763.
Your adoption will help restore one of the Theatre’s 113 historic chairs to its original splendour. Dating from the 19th century, these chairs form part of the original furnishings of the Mazzacorati, which opened on 24 September 1763.
The “Adopt a Chair” project’s aim is the complete restoration of these furnishings by experienced professional restorers, repairing the wooden parts and the woven cane seats.
This adoption is temporary. When it expires, you may choose whether to renew it by paying the same amount, which will be used to maintain the chair.
If you do not renew, the chair may be adopted by someone else.
Please note that adoption does NOT entitle you to priority booking or free admission to Theatre performances.
